When it comes to cloning Superman, best not to let the batch get too ripe!

Original Text: Oh, hey! Speaking of both clones and alternate reality evil versions of #SupermanAnalogue characters, how about one that's both? Black Zero was a version of Superboy from a reality where he aged to maturity in his cloning pod.
On Black Zero's world, Superman never came back after his fight with Doomsday, so he stepped into the role. However, the people of the world never fully accepted him and he allowed himself to be influenced by his genetic father, Paul Westfield.
Black Zero eventually came to the decision that the only way to protect an ungrateful populous was to subjugate it. From there, he decided to expand his rule across Hypertime (the 90s version of the multiverse) which is when a reality lost Superboy encountered him.
And, man, Black Zero was POWERFUL! He claims that he never dealt with a reality where Superman lived, but he easily handles a Silver Age Superboy and Krypto. He's got the same base as Superboy, but FAR stronger, even possessing heat vision and other powers unseen at the time.
Eventually, he's overwhelmed by a multitude of Superboys from different realities, but he made quite the stand before that. After that, he plays a similar role to the Maestro Hulk, constantly haunting the memory of Superboy and making him doubt his future.
(Seriously, how cool is that spread?)
Since the Geoff Johns Titans run, he's never been mentioned to the best of my knowledge. His role was usurped by the Titans Tomorrow Superboy and his origin wouldn't work with the retconned Luthor tie in.
The name Black Zero comes from a Kryptonian terrorist group. He adopted when he rejected the role of Superman and decided to become a conquerer.
I really like the outfit. The red trim invokes then current Kryptonian textures. The gold chest piece invokes the Guardian, a Cadmus associate, specifically his clone, Auron. There's some 90s excess, but those work considering his ties to the 90s Superboy. It works for me.
