Superpower 2 is a geopolitical simulator, with parts government simulation, world domination, and economic simulation. You take control of any nation in the world, mainly controlling the country's direction through the economy, military, and politics.

I recommend this game -- especially with mods -- and it's rather inexpensive, but if a 2004 release is just too old for you, Superpower 3 is in development!
