I was mucking about while recording a (long overdue) demo for Blake Hickey's 'Dreamsicle' IC fuzz (basically a commercial build of his favourite Muff with a Tone bypass option). I fired up the Eventide H9 'Dark Matter' algorithm inside its Space bit and let loose and chilled. You can see the Bluetooth connected interface for it on my iPad mounted on my desk next to me. I now keep the actual H9 hardware (pedal) in the FX loop of the Laney on the other side of the room at all times. It's bloody brilliant and has given me some bad g.a.s. for their (now ageing) H8000FW. Man, imagine what I could do with that thing...

"Superstar" was the first thing that came to mind. Being a fan of all things noise and/or melody I decided to record my second take for posterity. Here it is. Hope it doesn't scare the kids or repel you in that middle bit. There's something about noise and melody... Must be my Sonic Youth tendencies. Sorry for the chorus fluffs, my Chet Atkins bass/melody pickin' needs work. :)

Credit also to the Waves CLA Guitars plug which I use religiously on all my demos. I gave the 'Hall' reverb a little bit of stick to accommodate some stereo fielding.
