This was going to be a full legit playthrough but at the very end the game decided to cut off your ability to continue further. You have unlimited continues until the final stage, but then when you die you start the game over. Shinobi and Rastan also do this (arcade versions). I may practice the rest of the game and try again or finish the rest of the game for fun, but not sure yet.

Very good game other than the penalty at the end.
