Survival games are ruining PC gaming | The Miller Rapport
86DayZ, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, The Forest, State Of Decay, Conan Exiles. All survival games. All rubbish. In what world do you want to have to try and ‘survive’ in a game? Do you not do that enough in your personal life? Why on earth would you want to transfer that across to your digital existence, too? It’s called ‘fun’ dingus. Get a clue.
But no. No one gets a clue. Instead, gamers the world over lap this stuff up, justifying Steam’s Early Access model as if it’s oxygen. In short, not only are you supporting nonsense, but you’re supporting unfinished game. Great work, team. You’re doing us all proud.
It’s enough, though, and that’s why this week’s Miller Rapport is dedicated to calling this out. Let’s put a stop to it NOW.
