17A playthrough of the updated demo for Back to the Dawn, where you're a fox TV reporter that gets framed and jailed after investigating corruption. This new demo expands gameplay to the first three days and allows one to progress through a good chunk of the first act.
There are some extra places to explore, such as a wall in the detergent room that can be dug through that looks to have a possible escape route in the full game. There's also the jump to the 2nd floor platforms in the pipe area behind your cell (currently, the fans stop you from exploring that way).
You can learn the code for Inmate Storage alternatively by reading the X Factor book in the library for the first time (although without the memo you likely won't know the significance). It is possible to enter the code for Inmate Storage even if Thomas didn't technically learn it.
I personally think the undercover journalist has better stuff overall since there are a lot of agility checks and extra pocket space helps a lot but I was curious about focusing more charisma stuff this time, which looks pretty good if you combine the negotiation book, a bandana, and scented soap for the charisma boosts.
