Suzaku Castle | Street Fighter II: The World Warrior
Ryu's theme & stage from Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, in a widescreen, 60 FPS, 16:9, no UI, no characters format.
Details:
The name ''Suzaku Castle'' is most likely first giving in the artbook/soundtrack ''Street Fighter II - Complete file''. The game itself simply calls the stage ''Japan''.
Suzaku Castle ( lit. Vermilion Bird Castle) has breakable signs on it reading Fūrinkazan (風林火山? "Wind Forest Fire Mountain"), a shortened version of a quote from Sun Tzu's Art of War. The signs are present only in the original Street Fighter II and Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition.
Suzaku Castle is not a castle which actually exists in real life, but it is based on ''Matsue Castle'' in the Shimane Prefecture of Japan
According to the Street Fighter II instruction manual, the Suzaku Castle is Ryu's dojo where he lives and trains. The platform built in the outside courtyard serves as a fighting area specifically for the Street Fighter tournament.
