[WARNING: THIS VIDEO CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM THE CLASS STORY OF THE SITH WARRIOR FROM SW:TOR]
This video features the whole ending sequence of the first act of the Sith warrior class story from Star Wars: The Old Republic. My character mostly followed the light side path.
Note that the whole quest has plenty of variables depending on your warrior's current allignment: being either light or dark sided will determine which dialogue options your character can take and what she/he is going to say or do at several points.
Nomen Karr is the final boss of the first act of the Sith warrior story and pretty much acts as a dps Sith juggernaut. The main gimmick of the fight is that you must defeat Karr actually thrice to go on with the quest, with him resorting to dark side techniques towards the end of the battle (while first phase Karr will just go after you with his lightsaber, second and third phase Karr will throw Force choke and Ravage into the mix). Karr however lacks the great defence of juggernaut and therefore isn't that hard to defeat if you levelled your character at a reasonable pace and memorized an average rotation at this point. Also, you are given the opportunity to restore your health between the three fights.
Regardless of what you intend to do with Jaesa or how you'll talk to her, you will have to face her in a boss-ish fight. She acts as a tanking Jedi shadow but she doesn't have much defence herself and won't use any offensive Force powers: if you hadn't any problems with Nomen Karr, Jaesa will be even easier than him to bring down.
The main decision your warrior is tasked with during act I's ending is how you intend to recruit Jaesa as your apprentice. Killing her isn't an options, so you must deal with her choosing your dialogue options carefully. While it's impossible to list everything, below there's a quick roundup.
In order to recruit a Jaesa on the light side of the Force, you must either:
- Allow her to look inside you while your character is at least on light side tier I
- Having spared at the very least either her parents or her master. Of course having spared both makes your argument to her far more convincing
- After she declares she wants your special kind of power, you can be direct and ask her to join you in the lght. Note that this is possible even if you are a dark sided character
Light!Jaesa character's arc will be about protecting a group of light sided Sith she found in the Empire. Also, take note that Light! Jaesa CANNOT be romanced in any way, regardless of the few flirting you can do with her immediately after recruiting her.
In order to recruit a Jaesa on the dark side of the Force, you must either:
- Allow her to look inside you while your character is at least on dark side tier I
- Having killed both her parents and her master
- After she declares she wants your special kind of power, you can urge her to join you on the dark side of the Force. Note that you can do this even if you are a light side character
- Ordering her to kill her former master herself
Dark!Jaesa character's arc is about hunting down a group of light sided Sith she discovered in the Empire. Unline Light!Jaesa, Dark!Jaesa is a romance option for a male Sith warrior.
Notice that once you get for yourself either Light! or Dark!Jaesa, you can't change your decision later, and each will react differently regarding your choices and accept companion gifts differently
As mentioned above, the fate you decide for Nomen Karr has very little value unless you order Jaesa to kill him, which will awards you dark side points and turn her into Dark!Jaesa
