SWAT Police follows an excuse plot, where this time the players are a pair of elite SWAT operatives, Cruise and James apparently the only members available on their team and they're up against a terrorist syndicate whose ranks include assorted machines and robots.

This is a crosshair shooter that uses joysticks and three buttons: A for shooting, B for dodging, C for throwing bombs.

The game has 10 stages to complete with hordes of enemies, the game has several bonus weapons to take, hidden in the levels or from enemies.
Many enemies and in various buildings of the levels hide gold, the currency used in the game, when you finish a stage access a shop where you can buy different upgrades.
Some are permanent like bombs and the main weapon of the player, others are temporary like power ups of the scope or of the movement of the game, the bulletproof vest that allows you to tank a shot and a friendly sniper that kills together with you the enemies on the screen doing critical damage.

Once you beat all the stages, the reward is a simple "Congratulations" screen with your two protagonists.
