Match mode in Magical Drop VI is a mode where you face off against the CPU in a traditional match. Clear your quota of drops first, or force your opponent's falling stack past the bottom of the playfield to win and move on to the next stage. On Easy difficulty, there are only 5 stages.
Interesting thing about this game is that when you make a chain, certain characters can send more lines of drops to your opponent than others, which makes a huge difference in a mode like this. As it turns out, characters like Fool, Sun, and Wheel of Fortune are the best to pick as they can send 7 lines with just a 3 chain. Other characters like Lovers, Justice, and Temperance can only send up to 3 lines which require at least a 6 chain to do so.
