Tips for Kirito Mode (Final Fight w/ Death Gun) [Spoilers - Obviously]
As a player who didn't use any of the sword skills before going into Kirito Mode it was baffling, to say the least. You can't even read what they do once you're in Kirito Mode, and the controls for Gun/Sword are also not intuitive either.
That being said, I thought some quick tips might be useful to other people.
1.) You can beat the final boss only using your gun/sword. No need to use sword only.
2.) There's no need to fire a single bullet. Only swing the sword while in gun/sword mode.
3.) Activate Sword Barrier (2nd skill).
4.) Charge into range using quickstep / the first skill.
5.) Use the 4th skill (not tactical roll, the other one).
6.) Repeatedly hit the boss in the face until first and 4th skills are back up again, and then use them.
7.) Assuming you landed your attacks the boss should be dead in 2-3 rotations and shouldn't have done much damage to you. You can't shoot your gun while in Sword Barrier (2nd skill). Just keep it on and smack the boss until he dies.
Hope that helps. I was wondering wtf to do and died probably 5 times before reading what the skills did on the only wiki that actually is useful... And I had to go back into the database to figure out the PC controls for gun/sword too. (it's R to swing your sword, LMB to Fire, RMB to Aim, and RMB+R to reload). Not intuitive at all.
But yeah, don't bother shooting, just do the 7 steps above and you can kill him very easily. Hitting the skill attacks takes a little getting used to but it shouldn't take you too long. I wouldn't even consider my kill a clean kill because I missed a lot of stuff but I still killed it with full HP. The biggest difference is just knowing what the skills do and the controls are. Kinda hard to kill something when you don't know what your character is doing :^)
8.) If you die and have to try again you can skip through the dialogues by pressing escape. Save your Enter/F/LMB and don't mash them, haha.
