Walkthrough notes:
Turbo Jump is higher than a regular jump. It can be done with a regular NES controller by mashing jump button but its less reliable.
You can perform a jump midair when falling. Its demonstrated at the beginning the 6th stage the dungeons but you can play through the game just fine without being aware of it.
Enemies perform attacks spontaneously at random. Don't expect a flawless run.
Magic attacks consume your XP. Enemies can block them as well. Should be avoided unless its necessary.
The game offers 5 continues and you get to keep your XP gained during the stage. You can use continues to level up your HP pool before the final boss battle. It makes the battle MUCH easier. There's a checkpoint before the final boss. You have to use continues before that checkpoint otherwise you might get stuck in an unwinnable situation.
