Swords and Serpents (NES) Stream 1!
2Not to be confused with Swords & Serpents for Intellivision.
We begin an NES dungeon-crawler! We map out the first two floors and acquired some clues, a couple spells, and some precious Experience Levels!
As I mention in the video, I'll be using save states as opposed to passwords when I'm ready to end a session. I'll do my best to get the game "as close to a password as possible" before I end a session. This will mean making my way back to a Temple, primarily.
Besides the convenience of not having to deal with the password system, this does afford me one additional advantage: My experience doesn't reset at the start of each session. This is, I think, a pretty minor thing, but I'm putting it out there in the interest of transparency.
Also, I'll be using Gridmonger, a free, open-source alternative to Grid Cartographer, to make my maps.
Oh, and yes, we pay the Cat Tax!
