► Experimented with "Override any application setting" of NVIDIA Control Panel for the old game Syberia in preparation for a let's play playthrough.
HOW TO UPSCALE AND SMOOTH OLD GAMES TO HD 1080P INSTRUCTIONS:
NVIDIA Control Panel :: Manage 3D Settings :: Program Settings :: Add %location%\syberia\game.exe

Anisotropic filtering = 16x
Antialiasing - Mode = Override any application setting
Antialiasing - Setting = 2x
Antialiasing - Transparency = 8x (supersample)
RESULTS: Visuals are smoothed along the edges providing a more modern HD look, however, the framerate drops from 60 fps to 26-30 fps. Recorded the game with Bandicam set to 1080p and 30 fps.
NOTE: There is no true way to upscale "SYBERIA" as the original game engine does not allow for any resolutions other than 800x600. This is just a visual enhancement that mimics HD and softens the jagged low resolution edges. This method is exclusive to NVIDIA graphic cards with latest driver installed. This upscaled smoothing method may work for other old games.
