My experiments with a face display for robot cosplay stuff continue. This time I'm using a pair of 32x16 HUB75 panels, driven by a Raspberry Pi Pico which I got two days ago.
Porting my Arduino code was pretty trivial, though it'll take more work to make it tidy enough to release. After that I can look at fancier things like blushing expressions and maybe multicoloured sprites if there's a need for it, but since Synths and Protogens generally have monochromatic faces anyway, that's definitely a wishlist item rather than a Minimum Viable Product.
Music is from Part 6 of my Xerian album, which I still need to record the bass for. It's a concept album about the kind of creature this display is intended to simulate.
