Synth Riders = Oculus Quest Spin Mode update
Synth Riders (Spin Mode Update)
Kluge Interactive
Oculus Quest
Don't need an excuse to dive back into Synth Riders, the soundtrack alone is incredible.
The recent update now allows up to 360 degrees rotation and requires much more movement. The game gives you prior warning of which direction it is moving in by way of the diamonds that the orbs appear from flashing and moving sideways, they never seem to move too far across so the action is quite a natural smooth rotation and means you will never truly loose your bearings.
For anyone that hasn't played Synth Riders before, this is a rhythm game that requires you to track orbs with your hands, these can come as single orbs or linked, there are 4 main colours, you can choose these yourself, one each assigned to either hand another for both hands together and the final one is one that you must use the same hand on.
On the easy setting this game is very casual and requires little movement as combinations are kept simple, but start selecting normal upwards and you will find yourself needing to move much more, dodging obstacles as well as additional hand moves, such as crossing over of hands and quick mixed patterns.
This is a rhythm game for the casual gamer and hardcore gamer too, colourful visuals and animations as well as one of the best track listings available in any game.
