This is a mod to improve the experience of T03 speedrunning.

T03 is awful for speedrunning, since the only way to speed it up is to skip the dialogue at the very end, and otherwise you just have to wait for the timer to run out. However, it appears that at one point, there was a plan to allow you to end the mission early by destroying the zerg hatchery. There are disabled triggers in the scenario file that allow you to do just that. I enable those triggers, and demonstrate the effect this has on the game.

Here are the steps for creating this map if you want to do it yourself:

1. Get an mpq editor with the appropriate listfiles for opening the starcraft mpqs
2. Extract the T03 chk file from the mpq (it should be in Starcraft.mpq iirc)
3. Rename it to T03SpeedrunMod.scm
4. Open it in StarEdit
5. Open the trigger editor
6. Find the trigger with all the disabled effects, and enable each of it's effects
This is sufficient to enable the alternate win-condition, however, the dialogue will have no sound. To enable sound, you must do the following:
7. Extract the T03 sound files from the mpq
8. Open the sound editor in StarEdit
9. Import all the sound files
10. Go to the trigger editor, find somewhere where a sound file is used, change the sound file being used to the same one, and press OK. (I'm not sure if this step is necessary but I found that it wouldn't save the sound files otherwise. You only need to do this with one of the sound files)
11. Save somewhere in the StarCraft maps folder
Note: it should have increased in size to about 1800 KB from all the sound files, if not, the dialogue sound won't work.
12. Open StarCraft and run your map using the play custom map functionality. Make sure you set it to "Use map settings" instead of melee.
