The Side Wall Splat is an extremely complicated subject because there are so many variables that you need to consider. This is why you don't see people make guides about it. This is my attempt at doing just that, by replicating one controlled situation again & again for the entire cast and seeing if I can find any patterns (Thank goodness for the Tekken Overlay position Save State feature lol) Although I've discovered some interesting/helpful tech, ultimately the rules concerning the Sidewall are way too complex to generalize in one short video. I have a lot more things I want to talk about in regards to Side Wall Splats--but I'll do so in future videos once I can organize my notes. In the meantime, this introductory video will serve as the beginning of our discussion, so feel free to comment down below on what you currently know about the Sidewall. Is it possible to be consistent in converting off a Sidewall in any situation? Only time & experimentation will tell.
