Why do play rpgs? Have you ever considered it therapy? Many gamers play tabletop rpgs for different reasons. For some gaming is a form of stress relief. Now I don't know if there is any scientific studies or research into role-playing games as therapy. I just know some of my gaming buddies find it very helpful.
