I. In THIS video the matchups include the Play-in Games:
1. Headbutter vs Bard: 06:23
2. MINI Farmer vs Clubber 07:34
3. Protector vs Halfling 08:48
4. Bard vs Halfling 09:54
*The Play-in games are necessary because we are starting with 50 units and that's too many for a 48-Team Bracket. Winners of the Play-in Games will thus earn a #12 seed (see below) and help finish the setup for the TABS Madness Bracket Challenge!
II. About the TABS Madness Bracket Challenge:
*This is a single-elimination tourney set up in the spirit of the NCAA March Madness tournament. For THIS challenge we'll be using all the current TABS units that have a cost of LESS than 2230 (Mammoth). (So that means we won't be using the supermax units (Ice Giant, Artemis, etc) because obviously those would make it unfair).
*We'll determine seed for each bracket based on the unit's cost (higher cost = higher seed) and in the event of a tiebreaker we'll use (suspected) unit health based on various guides on in the TABS/Reddit universe.
*Using this methodology, the seeding is as follows:
#1 Seeds: Mammoth, Monkey King, Zeus, King
#2 Seeds: Minotaur, Ulir, Wheelbarrow Dragon, Hwach
#3 Seeds: Dragon, Wheelbarrow, Vlad, Scarecrow
#4 Seeds: Ballista, Longship, Catapult, Knight
#5 Seeds: Mace Spinner, Valkerie, Jarl, Harvester
and so on through the Top 12 seeds.
*We'll have FOUR Divisions with names based on the units in their brackets...
The "Dilly Dilly" Division showcases the King, Ballista, Mace Spinner, and more.
The "Kinda Smelly" Division has the Mammoth, Minotaur, Wheelbarrow, etc.
The "Scary Things" Division features the Monkey King, Vlad, Potion Seller, Executioner, Halfling, etc.
The "You Shall Not Pass" Division has Zeus, Hwacha, Monk, Knight, Jester, and more.
