It's 1992, and the NERF brand is starting to cement itself as one of the cornerstones of the outdoor sports toy aisle... and then the Slingshot drops. It's bad. It's so bad the commercials can't even properly show it functioning and relies on quick cuts or literal CG...or both. It's one of the worst things in the NERF line, and then they bring it back in 2003 because they hate dinosaurs.
