Age of Empires 3 is the follow up to Age of Empires 2 (obviously) and moves forward a bit in time from the medieval ages to the age of discovering America! All the way from first sailing there and discovering the continent, to building the railroads and expanding the frontier! Different powers all across Europe has interests in the New World, and they will use force if necessary!
The campaign mode of this game plays out in three acts. Act 3 follows the campaigns narrator, Amelia Black, granddaughter of John Black from the previous act, who owns a railcompany that is expanding west! Accompanied by Major Cooper, who is there to help protect her workers, they try to be the best railcompany in the land! But her company is running low on money, so she is in dire need of some financing. Luckily enough for her, she runs into a prospector who agrees to share the gold he found in the mountains if she and her men help him mine it. But why is this frenchman so willing to share his gold?
