TAKEOFF – Mortal Kombat 11, Limited Edition: Scorpion Gold Leaf Video

We were asked by Warner Bros. to create 20,000 limited editions to celebrate the launch of Mortal Kombat 11, and thank long-time loyal fighters who have helped the bloody tournament brawler become a gaming institution.
A moody golden-masked bust of vengeful series spectre Scorpion was the centrepiece of the limited edition, but we decided to go even further, and create a single, one-off special edition that fully immortalised the powerful Shirai Ryu ninja.
The special edition saw our Scorpion bust painted carefully in gold leaf by a team of dedicated French craftsmen, who brought the immortal warrior to life with dedication and magic far beyond that of Shinnok and Quan Chi.
The result was a golden Scorpion bust that one lucky recipient would be only too happy to be on the receiving end of a fatality from. Click here to watch the video, and see our artisans at work!
