Just a video of me taking a hike to the Bolten Brewery (http://www.bolten-brauerei.de).
They claim to be the oldest Altbier brewery in the world... established in 1266. Hard to verify.
But their beer tastes good and it's very cheap directly at the brewery. Only 50 cents per bottle.
Considering that we had a horrible storm just 3 days before I recorded this video, I have to say that we were very lucky over here. Hardly any damage.
Completely different picture just a couple of miles further east in Düsseldorf. Now, one week after the storm, finally most train routes and roads are operational again.
