TAKOYAKI from the scratch! No Squid Needed with Homemade Takoyaki Sauce Recipe!

I usually buy my Takoyaki mix but it gets too expensive and too rare to find so I just resort to making my own. Today I finally made my very own recipe from the scratch and was happy with the outcome.
Recipe
1 cup all purpose flour
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
OR
*use the Korean vegetable pancake mix if you have it or use the tempura batter it works as well
Then add the following
1 Tbsp Dashi powder (or substitute the 2 cups water with 2 cups chicken stock and use fish sauce as desired)
1 Tsp soy sauce
1 egg
2 cups water
1/4 cup diced green onions
2 Tbsp pickled ginger (Beni shoga)
*optional
Chopped octopus or whatever you want to add
Mix
Fry until edge is crispy
Topped with Bonito flakes
Japanese Mayo
Takoyaki Sauce (recipe below)
Optional chopped hard boiled egg and Chopped green onions
For the homemade Takoyaki sauce
2 Tbsp ketchup
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp oyster sauce
Mix and top to your Takoyaki once cooked
