Tales From the Borderlands is the fourth installment of the Borderlands series, which unlike the first three (made by Gearbox Software) was made by Telltale Games and thus takes on a more storytelling gameplay.

Tales From the Borderlands takes place after the events of Borderlands 2 (the second game but last in the storyline), picking up where the story left off following the death of Handsome Jack, the leader of the corrupt Hyperion corporation.

Facing off against Vallery, the group looked to have exhausted their luck, but just before Vallery could execute Fiona, Athena showed up out of the blue, chasing off the Queenpin and her mercenaries before revealing herself as having been on their side all along, in fact hired by Felix to teach them some valuable lessons and now she intends to stick around till Fiona and Sasha has learned them.

Thinking of what to do, Rhys noticed an "on" button on the Gordus sphere, turning it on to reveal it in fact to be a cute little robot who quickly explained that in order to lead them to the vault, Gordus had to find some upgrades and thus the group set out to find their way to the first, following the directions of the little robot.
