The remainder of the party tried their best to rescue Boregard and Flint, but ultimately left unsuccessful in fear that they would be captured as well. Upon leaving the underground, the party were captured by members of the guard, and brought before the king to answer for the crimes they have committed whilst living within the city.
Karaahl having convinced the priest of Jarkett to testify for him, managed to lighten the sentences for himself, and his friends. However, as Jager was born in the country, she was tried for treason and convicted guilty as a traitor to her king and country. In fear of the escalating Horde presence in the city, the king had the Goblin District destroyed.
Flint and Boregard were taken to a prison in the sky so that Flint could fulfill her end of the bargain she had struck with the Transport Demons. Through sheer luck, both of the party members managed to fulfill their mission and escape the prison alive, where they later met up with the released members of the party.
