"Tales of" battle system gameplay in Unity: Aerial attacks, Mystic Artes and more!
I have worked sporadically on my "Tales of" battle gameplay. I added a bunch of new stuff since the last video:
- Attacks and artes can be used mid-air. You can also combo aerial-enabled artes when launched in the air.
- Spells can be used in the air. They have a different animation when used that way. They are also weaker to compensate for the lack of casting time.
- Added healing spells as well.
- You can double jump.
- Characters can go in overlimit when the gauge is full. You cannot be stunned and can use a Mystic Arte if the hit connects.
- You can change target by pressing the target button. It displays enemy health. Tapping the button selects the closest target.
- Added voices and music.
Sprites, music and voices are placeholder and come from various Tales games.
