VS Batista Diego (4th playthrough - Lilith Solo - Chaos Mode - No Items - No Death)

Had to resort to the Manbousenkou loop once again because Lilith doesn't fare too well against Batista. You won't see very varied combos because as Batista is a dangerous foe for Lilith, I didn't used other Artes too much to save CC for the Manbousenkou loop.

Since Batista's faster and more aggressive this time around, Lilith has a hard time finding an opening even after guarding because his attacks have a really fast start-up time, so I might end hitting him in the initial frames of a new move and taking damage.

Lilith also cannot reliably break his Penetrate and as Batista can easily outrun her, there are some troubles when he gets in his second phase‏. Rainbow Arch is slow in the ground and while in the air it retains its original start-up time (I think?), it isn't worth it; an aerial Manbousenkou isn't a bad option if you manage to aim it properly but I found Kick Rock to be the best both at long and close range. It travels a fair distance so I can use it without problems after Batista ends an attack or comes running towards me but I find it more effective at close range because it deals two hits (the Kick and the Rock, duh =P), however, it leaves Lilith with almost no time to guard so I either perform a Flash Guard or take the blow, although the first is more likely to happen.

Talking about Kick Rock, I might have found an interesting propierty. If you look closely at around the 1:23 mark you'll see Kick Rock hits Batista and the "dizzy" stars appear and I can continue the combo, but it wasn't neither a critical nor a Poison proc. In other attempts, Kick Rock very briefly stunned Batista while running. So, this Arte may inflict stun for a very short amount of time without a critical, it's interesting, right? I have to test it more. And am I the only one who finds cute when Lilith says "Shoot!" after kicking a random rock?

Now that I'm talking about Artes, Steak Flare and Kick Rock make a wonderful combination. Steak Flare has a... weird cancel time (you can skip the animation where Lilith holds back the frypan if you do another action when the flare stops but despite mashing the buttons sometimes I couldn't cancel it) and it moves Batista away too much, so Kick Rock can stop him and I can continue to hit him. Steak Flare + Lilith Slash against the wall is a bad idea because Manbousenkou will miss, but Kick Rock prevents it, ain't it great?
