He's back, and with a new form. And with that new form he's a bit tougher now.

Hyades II was capable of casting spells but he never used them that much. Hyades III absolutely loves them, and he won't hesitate to pull one out. Most of his other moves aren't threatening except, just like last time, Ground Shake, which comes up almost instantly. This time it's blockable, but this time he also likes to cancel it into a spell, leading to very high damage. Because of this, it's important to take this battle patiently, and just sit and guard once in awhile. You also can't be too greedy on your punishes, because nothing's worse than being caught in your run animation by a Ground Shake into a Earth Shaker or Bloody Howl.

There were a couple of little things I had to keep in mind for this fight. I wanted to keep Hyades out of the corner if I could, mainly because if i was directly in front of him in the corner, it be really hard to dodge any Earth Shakers he would throw out. I also didn't use Maximum Burst except for the very end, because it's way too easy for Hyades to hit me with a Ground Shake into a spell because of Maximum Burst's long recovery.

This fight wasn't that hard but it was definitely a step up from Hyades II, and it took awhile for me to crack him open. I get to do pretty combos too so hey, not bad.
