Did I say Celsius was my favorite Greater Craymel? Scratch that, this guy takes the cake just for how he pronounces "Summon Demon".

Like Celsius, fighting Shadow takes a lot more patience than your average boss. Shadow has a multitude of powerful defense options, and he won't hesitate to kick you around as well. He has an anti-air stab that can sometimes prevent Farah's diagonal approach, a counter that triggers whenever you run towards him, a good amount of armor, and two Empty Dolls that don't pose much of a threat in terms of damage, but get in your way frequently and can take hits for Shadow.

The key is dodging Shadow's moves and punishing accordingly. His sword spin and spells are easy to punish, but his overhead slash, which is his favorite move, recovers quick and can be hard to punish. Ideally you want to avoid those slashes until he does something punishable, or you can throw caution to the wind and try for it anyway. The slashes are blockable but it can be hard to react to because it's so fast. So preferably you want to be just outside of its range. In order to do this you absolutely need to be out of the corner; you'll see me panic Eagle Rage + Mirage out of the corner for that reason. You also want to avoid using Maximum Burst too much. Shadow has a lot of health, so TP management is pretty important, and if you do the math, it's not worth it to pull out 50 TP for the extension unless you are sure you have enough TP for the entire fight.

Really fun fight. Frustrating to record but I think it turned out excellent.
