Tales of Legendia - Boss 27: Moses [Senel Solo/Hard Mode/NI]
The CQ's definitely start off on the right foot with dat cheerful bandit Moses all alone and ready to get pulped. Without Giet by his side Moses has trouble doing much of anything as an enemy. "What do'ya have a crush or somethin?" Dragon Crush. Kidney Punch finish all day every day.
I'm not sure if it's wide known or not, but you can get virtually any item at the beginning of the CQ's before leaving for Fallingwater. All it takes is a little walking on foot, but you can eventually visit any dungeon to grab anything, so I spent some time grabbing the Persian Boots (all damage HALVED) and materials for customizing the important Reflex armor (which reduces physical damage by 30%). This setup with the Fairy Ring, Persian Boots, and Reflex really won't be changing much by the end since it's so effective. I didn't grab Senel's second best weapon right away since Mirage Palace is annoying, but I get it soon enough.
I'm not using the Extreme Symbol except for a few bosses near end-game (and the final dungeon mess) since it kinda....defeats the whole purpose I set out for this run, so the latter Dark characters end up being fairly challenging. Not to mention I'm not too fond of the defense drop or loss of Fairy Ring for the Persian Boots to fix that defense drop or *insert reason here*
But all that yappin' isn't even needed for Moses.
