What better video to finish this week than... Wait wait wait. Are you telling me that NDX aka 真実に向き合うRPG (Facing the truth RPG) isn't the final video of this week?

*smirk*

Anyway, this took forever to record. The reason I said I may extend my departure to beginning of 2017 is entirely due to this run, considering that I take 6 months to upload a video -_-
I was able to fix the sound issues I had last time and that’s great. However, I still have a few frames skipped (mainly in OB) but I'm definitely never gonna remake those fights (especially Jestorna). The amount of work required is just too overwhelming and I don't want to burnout while playing my favourite game. I should invest in a new computer because this one is having a lot of issues handling the game.

Dio and Mell enters an unknown timeline in which they see flashbacks of their own past selves.
The next fights of this run will definitely be important story-wise since they explain Dio and Mell's choice to aton for their crime as well as the trial's true goal : judging oneself. NDX's theme is definitely one of my favourite in this series since it represents an issue that we deal with in our daily life : Deny. Facing the truth can be so tough that I'm not surprised that we prefer to erase all facts from our memories and live in a world of illusion in order to avoid pain. But the truth can't be hidden forever~ Facing the truth is the first step .... But taking responsability and facing the problems is what makes you strong~

I’ve been doing too much writing work this week so I’ll try to shorten the description, especially since you know how most of the advanced techs work.

Flamberk

▶Type : Ground + Aerial Recover
▶Weight : Medium
▶Penetrate : 4

For this fight, I used the grappler class to have access to a lot of water Artes as well as a water weapon. It was the perfect choice to kill the minions in a short time and reduce the overall length of the fight (before the combo becomes repetitive).

I had multiple combos ready for the beginning of the fight in order to take care of the minions but I’m grateful I had to use the fastest one for the final take. The most important was to not hit Flamberk as it would completely destroy my setup for the critical hits.

Flamberk can use Aerial recovery. While it’s annoying since it has a lot of i-frames at the beginning, the enemy has to do a small jumping animation that you can easily punish. It’s also the perfect occasion to showcase some Double Jump Cancels which are pretty hard to use in other fights.

Out of all the attacks that can launch in the air, Hienrenkyaku is probably my favourite one since it launches VERY high especially if you triggered it on the ground. I always use it even against enemies who resists it.

Yousou Moushuukyaku is an incredibly useful Arte. Not only it OTG, is powerful but you can easily follow another Arte after it.
I used it to trigger a glitch I introduced last time with the Ninja costume. Basically, grabs only check if the enemy is staggered by a hit in order to activate. Since Yousou Moushuukyaku has a long hitbox, I didn’t actually need to grab Flamberk to follow my combo.

Ouka Retsuenshuu is a great Arte to chase the enemy. In this combo it mustn’t be a RTA. Otherwise the spin kick would fail to hit. It can also be Double Jump Canceled into Yousou Moushuukyaku

Bakusai Tornado is one of the most powerful Arcane for this costume, but the combo counter will always reset unless the grab is a critical hit. Same thing for Juusou Land Ripper but it’s even harder to use as the second hit is greatly impacted by your agility (high agility means it will go too far) but you can use the wall to actually force the hitbox to go less far.
The last string before OB completely depends on your height relative to the enemy’s height when you trigger the kick. Attack too late or too soon and Tengetsusen will fail to hit.

Last thing is the MA glitch. It works the same as Rondy’s MA glitch. You need to use certain Artes before triggering the MA to deal an extra hit.
