The original footage from the Gamecube version is already pretty allright, but only 29.97FPS and in 720p. This was effectively doubled, but not wrapped in a container with fake 60. Instead we kept the exact ratio to avoid timing issues with b-frames that were off, which would've affected the end product. The intro has also been color corrected with a smidge of sharpening resulting in what we believe is a pretty stellar result.
