*** MAJOR SPOILER WARNING ***

See? I warned you of a plot twist. Plot twists and spoilerific bosses are all I'll warn you for, though.

You do NOT have to win this fight. I just wanted to kick Asch's ass for all the times he beat me. ]: I also wanted to get the cutscenes, too. BUT I MISSED THE RENDING THRUST ONE AGH FJSDOKGHSODIFGHSDFOPHI. ... But yes, I had to change the difficulty to normal to beat Asch. I'm pathetic, I know.

We make it to Yulia City, and everyone starts heading straight to the Mayor's house. Everyone except Luke, that is. Tear hesitates for a few moments, then asks how long Luke is going to stand there. He doesn't want to go because he doesn't want anyone accusing him of anything anymore.

Asch jumps in the conversation and calls him pathetic. He yells at Luke for still calling Van "Master" even though he betrayed him. Asch starts blaming himself for not realizing it sooner, then starts blaming Luke since he followed Van. Luke keeps saying it's not his fault. Asch asks himself if all replica brains are this defective, and Luke asks what he's talking about. Asch explains that HE was the one that lived in Baticul, and HE was the one kidnapped by Van seven years ago. Luke is just a mere replica of Asch. Luke accuses Asch of lying and pulls out his sword to fight him.

To get the Raging Blast cutscene, you need to use Raging Blast at the SAME EXACT TIME as Asch.

To get the Rending Thrust cutscene (Not shown here because I didn't know it existed skfnsaiodgnpsoh), you need to use Rending Thrust at the SAME EXACT TIME as Asch.

To get the cutscene with regular attacks, you need to get Asch down to 50% health.

Depending on whether you win or lose part of the cutscene changes, but in this case, Asch calls himself pathetic for losing to trash. It looks like Luke gets another headache, and everything starts blurring out. After Luke "wakes up", he sees that he's in Asch's body. Luke can talk in Asch's head, but Asch is in full control.
