As Luke wakes up, we see the destruction of Akzeriuth. There's also a kid here, but a deceased man is on top of him and he can't move. We can do nothing but watch him sink further into this place and die. As sad as it is, we need to leave him and get on the Tartarus so we don't die, too. Apparently there's a place called Yulia City in this place called the Qliphoth, so we have to head there.

As we're traveling, Tear explains a bit about the Outer Lands and the Qliphoth. The Outer Lands are being held up by pillars called Sephiroth Trees that extend from the Qliphoth. The reason Akzeriuth fell was because the tree holding it up disintegrated. Anise asks how, but everyone realizes it quick as they turn to Luke. Luke tries to take the blame off himself by blaming Van first, but as people start leaving due to not wanting to hear him, he starts blaming them, saying they couldn't do anything either. Eventually, everyone except Mieu leaves. Mieu says he can understand his feelings because a lot of people died because of him, too. Luke doesn't take this as a sign of comfort though, and yells at him saying "Don't compare me to YOU!". He attempts to say it again, but completely breaks down.
