Tales of the Abyss Long Play (NG+, 100%) #31: Papa Was a Rolling Stone
It is time to take care of more story stuff. We start by going to Belkend to see what we can do about the miasma. Spinoza said that, in theory, Luke's hyperresonance should be able to eliminate it. However, Jade explains that, in order to do that, Luke would need to sacrifice ten thousand Seventh Fonists, and he would likely die in the process. But he is thinking of it. We then head to Mt. Roneal again, where, we heard from Spinoza, Asch headed. So we chase him there. Along the way, we discover a locket that may belong to Natalia's true father. Asch ridicules us, of course, since we never got the key from Lorelei. We then travel back to Baticul, where it turns out Mohs has gone. As we go to where he is, he mutates into something no longer human, all in the name of the Score, which he is trying to uphold. As we head back, Luke decides to go visit the King to see if the locket he found is about Natalia. He confirms her name used to be Meryl. He then tells us to check in with her wet nurse, who happens to be in Chesedonia. We arrive there to find Sync there, reading the Score to those. And those have been stopped by the Order of Lorelei. But, what is scarier is the fact that the people who get these Scores read to them usually die, as their data is stolen for replicas. We decide to let Astor know, under the guise of speaking to Natalia's wet nurse to get further confirmation as to the identity of her father. We then return to Yulia City to speak to Teodoro about what's going on with the Planet's Core, and he tells of large gatherings of Seventh Fonons that his team are investigating. On the way out, we see a floating island. We then head back to Grand Chokmah, where we find Casim going out of control with his fonons, since he tried giving himself fonic sight. We save his life, but sentence him to imprisonment and a life of blindness. We then return to Daath to do the Monument Pilgrimage, with the help of Ion. We learn the history of Lorelei and Yulia. And now it is time to investigate the moving, floating island.

Welcome to the first Long Play on this Channel in a long while. It is Tales of the Abyss. I did a full Let's Play of it before, and this is the New Game+ playthrough. In it, we will do basically everything in the original project, but we will be having much longer episodes to get through it quicker. I will still be showing off all skits and pretty much all scenes. I will also show off all items I can find. But I will be making new decisions, when one is offered to us. I will not be showing off speaking to all NPCs. I will also not be showing off all minigames. Only what I need for the story's sake. I hope you enjoy this. And, as always, let me know what you feel about me reading skits, or if you want me to speak to certain NPCs. I will also take requests for certain costume titles for each of the characters. Just let me know. This will also be uploaded three days a week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
Thanks for watching. Have a great day. Keep it real.
