Tales of the Abyss Long Play (NG+, 100%) #30: Hazy Shade of Winter
Now that we have forgiven Anise of her perfidious actions, it is time to get back to figuring out just what we can do about all this miasma. But not before traveling the world again to get some more sidequests. First stop on the itinerary is Daath Bay, where the guy we rescued from thugs earlier is being coerced into returning to Baticul. We find out he is blind, and that he used to be part of the Kimlascan military. And we also learn that Jade is the one that took his sight. After he declines to return to Baticul, he teaches Natalia a new Arte and parts ways. After that, we return to Keterburg, where our old friend, Shiba, and his dog, Peko, are hanging out at the gazebo. Apparently Peko found something shiny whilst they were hiking Mt. Roneal. However, the "something shiny" is a very dangerous seed that can cover all of Keterburg in ice, if it germinates. We race to Mt. Zaleho and drop it into the volcano, which causes all the lava to harden and grant us new passage. We get a new weapon, and Mieu learns a new power, which is basically an upgraded Mieu Fire. With this ability unlocked, we revisit some other places on our haunt. We return to the Abandoned Factory to get a Catalyst Weapon for Natalia. We then return to Shurrey hill to get a few items from a new secret passage, which I neglected to show in the Let's Play I did of this. But, most importantly, we return to Mt. Roneal to solve some puzzles, which will allow us to upgrade our Flightstone even more. With the new and improved Refined Flightstone, we can finally get the last search point. We also are able to track down an enemy for the Katz we met at the Keterburg Hotel earlier. Afterwards, we return to the Ortion Cavern, but this time we go over a whirlpool to enter another passage, where there are a bunch of Cheagles being held captive. Of course we've got to free them, since it is unlikely anyone will ever return to take care of them in the future. They return to the Cheagle Woods, which is where we end up. But before speaking to the Elder, we go and get us some gald by burning another root system to make an ersatz bridge. We end by getting our reward from the Cheagle Elder. And now it is time to plot a course to Belkend to see if maybe Spinoza has any ideas that will help us.

Welcome to the first Long Play on this Channel in a long while. It is Tales of the Abyss. I did a full Let's Play of it before, and this is the New Game+ playthrough. In it, we will do basically everything in the original project, but we will be having much longer episodes to get through it quicker. I will still be showing off all skits and pretty much all scenes. I will also show off all items I can find. But I will be making new decisions, when one is offered to us. I will not be showing off speaking to all NPCs. I will also not be showing off all minigames. Only what I need for the story's sake. I hope you enjoy this. And, as always, let me know what you feel about me reading skits, or if you want me to speak to certain NPCs. I will also take requests for certain costume titles for each of the characters. Just let me know. This will also be uploaded three days a week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
Thanks for watching. Have a great day. Keep it real.
