This form is easy, you should only have to use items to remove status effects even if you don't learn his attacks.

I couldn't fit the bits with me showing equipment or skills into the video but i still had the same things from Zagi (5th Encounter) apart from everyone being equipped with Black Onyx's and Yuri had an Alexandrite (Not sure if he had that in the Zagi vid, i just know i didn't change skills or other equipment), so Black Onyx's or even better, Alexandrites will help alot more than any other storyline buyable accessories if duke's 2nd or 3rd form are giving you trouble.
