Tales of Xillia - Golden Mage knight boss battle[3rd encounter, unknown difficulty], done by SoraKun85.

This is the 3rd and strongest encounter of Golden Mage Knight, fought at Magnus Zero floor 30, at the highest difficult.

Items: Life Bottles, Panacea Bottles and Gels if you need

Artes: what you want, set whatever you feel comfortable with your main, I left all of the other party members skills on ON

Equip: this is the important part, I used elemental resistance equipment, so I could absorb a good portion of the enemies attacks (since if el. res. are greater than 100% you absorb the damage)
Oh, and the Devil's Beasts weapons; only Jude weapon was upgraded to 4000 or so P. and A. ATK, Milla's is 2000 and the others' are 1000
On a final note, when you fight against the Coductor and the Puppeter, switch Jude's lightning Helm for the Earth Cap (so you can absorb their annoying Earth magics)

Party: I used Jude, Milla, Leia and Elize
You can use whoever you want, but I recommend Leia and Elize for their healing skills

Level: level 99 with full Lilium Orbs

Skills: Leia's Multi-Item, elemental resistances, HP/TP Surge and such are vital

Strategy:

1st Phase: just destroy the Mercenary

2nd Phase: switch Lightning Helm for Earth Cap and destroy the Conductor, then switch back to Lightning Helm and destroy the Duelist

3rd Phase: switch Lightning Helm for Earth Cap and destroy the Puppeter, then switch back to Lightning Helm and destroy the Scholar first and then the Creator

You'll destroy the mages first because they tend to heal their allies; use some items if you need, Life Bottles and Panacea Bottles are good used with Leia(Multi-Item) if you've 2+ allies dead or suffering from bad ailments
Not much to be said, with the right equip you can take your time to destroy them, have fun :)
