Despite not growing up with the show, I used to play this game a lot as a child. Because of this, I've become very fond of the game. I'll admit that the game does have its problems, and there are many things that they could have done to improve it... but it's still one of my favorite NES games, and I still play it often, even to this day.

I decided to record a run of the game, collecting every bit of the treasure and cargo that is scattered across the seven levels. I also show off most of the locations of the Kit Bonus Stages (each stage has two... and that's something I learned AFTER making the video, of course). The only reason I stopped going into the Kit Doors after level 3 is because there's only two different bonus stages, and they just continuously repeat (thereby becoming boring quite fast).

I also need to note that Level 4 is bugged. There are some treasures that will, for some strange reason, disappear and won't allow you to collect them. The only way for them to show up is to either die and do the stage over again, or reverse the Seaduck and go back to where they are located (and they'll magically be back for some reason).

Also, in case I forgot to mention it in the video, level one, five, and seven have hidden money bags. You can find them by shooting their locations (shown in the video).

Despite people's complaints about the game, I think it's a pretty good one. It's not for everyone though, so I'd say only play it if you're a fan of old-school games, or if you are a fan of the show. If I had to rate the game, I think a fair score would be '7/10'. If you ever do get a chance, check it out... Though I don't believe this game is available on Wiiware (and I doubt it ever will be), so you're best bet is playing a rom.

(Ps- Still wish Ace London was a playable character...... I wonder how many fans of the show, who only came to know the show via the DVD's, even know who he is?)
