0I remember when "New Super Mario" dropped on the Nintendo Wii.
The father of a good friend of mine who is by no means familiar with games or plays went out on his own to everyone's surprise and purchased both a Wii & New Super Mario bros.
He went to his home and surprised everyone with the entertainment system and played with his family for hours.To my friends surprised, who is much more familiar with video games as a whole. His father was extremely good, and was able to keep up and outrun him right from the start despite not ever being seen holding a controller.
Turns out this man, His first game was the original Super Mario Bros. and would only find interest in that game.Which lead to my friend obtain the family console Wii where his father still routinely plays.
