Taming The Wildlife.
This is a small clip from my VR No Mans Sky play through on Xbox Live.
This was uploaded to test streaming quality between Youtube Upload and Twitch Upload services.
They both seem to yield similar results, which makes my issue - MY ISSUE or just general latency expected with Virus timed Aussie internet usage. Either way this was my current set up, in the event I need this info making changes going forward.
AMD Ryzen 7 3800x
ASUS Tuf Gaming B550M- Plus
Radeon Saphire Nitro 8gb
32gb G.Skill Trident Z Neo- O/C @ 3,600mhz.
Occulus Rift S- Vr Headset + Motion Controllers
Home State VR; Steam VR Software---### See Below.1
Using Xbox Game Pass to locate Xbox Game/ Save from the cloud.
Running Required Occulus VR Software ---###-See Below.2
Captured using Radeon software capture/ uploaded to Twitch.
Piss Poor Australian Internet Speed (Multiplied by Virus overload = Some degree of capture lag input)
1.
Xbox Game Pass does not currently support VR software, you need to piggyback a No Mans Sky Game by launching it through the Steam Vr home page- at launch it gives you the option to play with VR even using the XBL launch page. If MS updates to allow third party VR use- this would completely eliminate the need to use Steam VR and remove issue #2 Below.
2.
Sucks- wish i did not have to have this open...Can't play over Xbl without steam VR, can't run Steam VR without this active. Basically doubles the load on VR outputs back to the PC, two home states open in the back ground, two VR "OS's" Running at the same time sort of thing... In Game for me the visuals are crisp however Occulus Software seems to cause the stagger/ delay i am getting in the capture footage, this footage does not capture the visual clarity I am getting in game. Without using the Occulus software- visuals on the display are poor. Companies like steam and Occulus need to work together on software cross overs or need to look into aftermarket software.
