Tamu Missif
Song A Day #1704
In the northwest pacific
Lies a structure so immense
Beneath the sky and atmosphere
And water that never relents
Rumbling so soft
Hidden in plain sight
400 miles wide
1000 miles east of japan
a great big carnival ride
The earth begins to cough
It's Tamu Massif
One of the biggest
Volcanos in the solar system
145 million
Years ago it formed
Great big heights old and wizened
The earth surprised us
She's still got some tricks
What mysteries await beyond
The dust and dirt and sticks?
Tamu Missif yeah
Someday we'll travel
Out beyond the stars
We'll get our kicks on Tatooine
in Mos Eisley bars
Tamu Missif yeah
