This week we Take a Peek at One Way Heroics! One Way Heroics is a Fantasy JRPG that is akin to the Adventure RPG games of the late 90's and early 00's. Take control of a valiant hero and outrun the impending darkness by moving [up] and to the right! Slay monsters on the way, level up, acquire silvers, and become the best hero you can be! Defeat the demon lord and save the world! One Way Heroics does a fantastic job of being minimalist, akin to that of Thomas Was Alone and Element4l. OWH is elegant, quick, and easy to understand without any unnecessary fluff or flashiness. It incorporates both good storytelling and solid gameplay without being boring or overwhelming in a great way. This game is another gem among the rough of indie games. It only falls short in how little there ultimately is to do in the game. 7/10
