I recently picked up a copy of The Animator's Survival Kit by Richard Williams. I'm not even a 1/3 of the way through it yet and already it's covered so much. This animation isn't perfect or anything but I wanted to give it a shot. The movement of the tape and the name change is controlled by SAMMI. The animation is the tape compartment front and the hands.
