Gate of Doom, also known as Dark Seal, is an arcade hack 'n slash game that was developed by Data East. It uses an isometric perspective and allows up to two players to choose from four characters, each with their own unique abilities. In this game, an old legend of the Kingdom of Etrulia has come true: its people have become so wicked that it has attracted demons from the underworld to break through the Gate of Doom and conquer the world. Thankfully, four special people have been summoned by the Force Divine to fight these demons and gather that Magic Gem and Magic Crown so they can seal the Gate of Doom for good.
