Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage is a platforming game for the Game Boy Advance and a crossover between Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon. It is a companion game to Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy, with both games taking place at the same time. This game follows the same Crash Bandicoot formula like the previous handheld Crash games, only with the levels taking place in Spyro's world instead of Crash's.

Doctor Neo Cortex has teamed up with Ripto to get rid of their archenemies by sending Ripto's monsters into both their worlds in disguise in order to trick Crash and Spyro and sow chaos. Each hero must now roam their counterpart's world and find the secret bases of Dr. Cortex and Ripto so they can defeat them get rid of Ripto's armies.
