VS Pinball is the arcade release of the NES game of the same name. The game is a standard example of a pinball machine, just played virtually.

There is a special bonus room in which the game turns into a Breakout ( https://tasvideos.org/GameGroups/115 ) clone of sorts, where the player controls Mario ( https://tasvideos.org/GameGroups/8 ) to save Pauline and earn bonus points. The NES game's manual considers rescuing her as winning the game.
