I guess I'm still not done with this map... Oh well...
This is also my first time submitting a TAS run to the archive, after I made dozens of them in my spare time
So, here's is the strats I used in this TAS, and also the first long demo comment I ever wrote down, so buckle up!
Part One - The Rocket Jump Skip
On the room with a switch to lower the wall to the left with a staircase going down, behind it is some bars which
rises up as you approach the switch, and that bar will not lower up until you reach halfway through the hallway right
after the room locked behind the yellow skull key... So how to skip the yellow skull key? Well...
Right next to the staircase is that hallway, but is seperated by a huge hole in the ground, which is impossible
to pass through without some sort of damage boost... Turns out there is a rocket launcher conveniently placed a few
rooms before this hallway... So then I did the rocket jump, and making sure I didn't die from the blast... After that
I went through the hallway until I passed linedef 7462, which lowers the bars I talked about earlier... Then I went back
to the staircase, and then I go through the normal route of the map...
Part Two - The Normal Route Again...?
Well, it's the standard route of the map, so I don't have much to talk about it... Well, I did the jump in the "hell"
portion where the floor instantly lowers, but I already did it non-TAS before, so yea...
I went through the normal route until I reached the only secret in the map, and then I started backtracking to the
start...
Part Three - The Backtrack
After teleporting out of the secret area, I turned back and started backtracking to the start, and it's
conveniently much closer since the hallway which brings you back to the start is only to the left of you
once you leave the room with the secret! And once I reached the intersection in front of the rocket launcher
room, there's a zero press!
Part Four - The Zero Press
At first I did the whole switch-hunt portion as normal, but then I remembered about the zero press... Even someone has
asked me why I don't use it in one of my my previous runs... Well, it's because I'm not really good at doing it,
especially if the switch is several map units away... But now I have an opportunity to try it myself, albeit in a TAS
environment... It's still hard to consistently and quickly get, but yeah, here's a zero press! And I got to skip the
switch-hunt portion entirely!
After the zero press I went through the final stretch as usual and finished the map!
